The city of Conway, South Carolina, changes each October, with pumpkins hanging from the trees, and all the fun spooky vibes transforming its name to the city of Halloween. It all started in September 2022 when Mayor Barbara Blain-Bellamy announced the temporary name change for the month of October. The fun themed Halloween Season and name change were all created with hopes to bring the community together, an invitation to bring guests, fun for the locals and families, and hopes to grow the economy in the city of Conway. The idea was a hit and has become a favorite for many and bringing travelers to the city of Conway. Halloween Town hosts many fun Halloween-filled events each day for the month of October and continues to grow each year. Let’s bring in Spooky Season!
