There are a few important things that you will need to bring. First, your Driver’s License for identification and ID. Second, your current insurance card if you are currently on a plan, so they know what you have already, can compare plans, if they are adding to, or if they are needing to cancel, they know what plan to help you cancel. Next, they will need to know your zip code and county, so they know what plans to discuss that are offered in your area. They will need to know your medicines (how many times a day you take and dosages of each one), your medical conditions, doctors and specialists, your preferred pharmacy, and preferred hospital. This helps when discussing coverage because they will need to look at plans that will be in network with those providers, pharmacies, and preferred hospitals, and to make sure your medicines will be covered. They will need to know who the coverage is for, whether it is just for you alone or is it for you and your family. They will need to know who all will need to be covered under the plan; date of birth, and the same medical information stated previously (medicines, doctors, etc.). They will also need to know the income. This is important because it helps determine the proper coverage amount. It helps with eligibility for premium tax credits and other cost savings in health insurance plans, and to make sure that you are not over-insured.
We are here for you, and to make sure you understand your plan fully and that it meets your needs.
